How this works, and what it costs

Every price we charge is on this page. Most consultancies make you sit through a meeting before you hear a number; we'd rather you see the numbers first and decide whether they're worth a conversation.

It starts with a free conversation

Before anyone spends a dollar, we sit down together — in person or over video, whichever suits you — and figure out where your business is actually starting from. It works both ways: you learn what this technology can genuinely do for a business like yours, and we learn how your day really runs. It costs nothing, and there's no obligation to do anything afterward.

By the end, we'll name a specific next step and what it costs. Everything it could cost is already below.

Packages

Most work is a product with a scope and a price on it, not an open meter. The staff workshops are where most businesses start.

The headline offering

Half-day staff workshop

About three hours on site with your staff: what AI actually is, what it's good at, where it quietly makes things up — practiced on your business's real work, not canned examples.

The headline offering

Full-day staff workshop

The full curriculum with room to go deep: fundamentals in the morning, the afternoon hands-on with your own paperwork, processes, and tools.

$1,795

1:1 owner session

Two hours with the owner, one on one. Your questions, your numbers, no staff audience.

$495

Advisory retainer

Four hours a month of an AI person on call — someone to ask before you sign up for something, buy something, or believe something.

$795/month

Process-to-app

A paper or Excel process turned into a working app. Scoped and priced per project — three ways to structure it, described below.

Quoted per project

Booked time

Some businesses would rather skip the packaging and book the time: a half day or full day of focused availability for implementation, working sessions, or whatever is next on your list.

Level Half day Full day
Senior $795 $1,495
Associate $495 $895

Senior time is the principal: twenty years of building working software, and the judgment that comes with it — discovery, architecture, and anything where the hard part is knowing what's right. Associate time covers building, setup, and data work, delivered under senior review. Plenty of jobs don't need the senior rate, and we'll tell you when yours is one of them.

A booked day is not a workshop. A workshop is prepared curriculum and materials built around your business's actual work — the preparation is most of the value, and it's why a workshop costs more than the same day of availability. A booked day is the raw time: experienced hands on your project, no curriculum.

Or just buy hours

Senior
$200/hour
Associate
$125/hour

Two hundred dollars an hour is a real number, so here's the honest math behind it. You can't get an HVAC tech to your door for $150 an hour anymore, and this is more specialized work. But the number that matters is the other one: this work used to take ten times longer by hand. You're billed for far fewer hours than the same job took even a few years ago — the rate went up, and the total cost of the job came down.

Project work

Turning a process into an app is quoted per project, and you pick the structure that fits how you like to buy.

Fixed bid

For small, well-shaped work — a single form turned into an app, the kind of thing the free conversation can sketch on the spot. One number, agreed before work starts.

Paid discovery, then a fixed bid

For anything larger. A short paid engagement defines exactly what's being built and credits toward the build — you get a real scope, and we quote a number we can stand behind.

Time and materials

At the hourly rates above, when you'd rather run it that way or the scope genuinely can't be pinned down yet.

Small changes are part of the deal

Fixed bids have a reputation: every little change triggers a change order and a fee. Ours work differently. A change that takes under about two hours is absorbed and logged — no paperwork, no line on an invoice. Those absorbed changes can add up to 10% of the project's value before the tolerance is spent. Past that point, or for anything bigger, we agree on a short written change order by email — a paragraph, not a contract. You will not get a bill for asking us to move a button.
